Well, I've hit a new low. True, honest to god, facebook stalking. I don't know what has taken over me; be it boredom, depression, what have you, it is not good. I suppose I'm the kind of person who needs something to dote over, to obsess over even, and luckily, I always had school or theatre to fill this obsession with.
Now, however, in my pathetic existence, I turned my attention to a boy. As my almost incessant tunnel vision has led me down my pathetic (yes, I'm using "pathetic" twice to describe myself in sequential sentences) love life, I seem to usually look at one boy at a time: in this case, he is a customer at my work. It's all completely innocent. No Swimfan incidences have occurred. I have however, facebook stalked him, which used to be a thing I only did to friends. Something that I have made difficult for others to do on my own profile. Something that I hate. I think it is creepy and wrong.
And yet, I did it.
And now, I think he knows. And I think he blocked me.
"Why?" you ask. Well, I tried to do it again tonight and I can't find him. Dammit.
If this is the case, then logic would say to move on and look at other boys. He obviously is not interested in me and is probably creeped out by my (very admittedly) stalker ways.
The optimist in me says that he deleted his facebook and doesn't know. The pessimist says that he deleted his facebook, does know, and has told all of his friends that I am a crazy person.
Self-preservation will lead me to the conclusion that he knows and will just pretend that it never happened (but still blocked me).
No matter who is looking at this, the key lies here. He is not interested. It's something that I will get over. Now. I just need to repeat the mantra "He is not interested" and I will actually get it through my thick skull that it is true.
This is a very embarrassing post.
