Hello again, blogging world.
I have taken a three year hiatus from my very minimal and pitiful blog, and am now back in action. Or typing action anyway. Truthfully, I deleted all of my previous blog posts except for the first (which was spared only because it's labeled "The First" and I didn't want this blog to be a lie).
Anyways, life, in its ever-changing, yet never-changing ways, has put me in a very strange niche. Or, rather, I have put myself in a very strange niche. I'm not sure whether I should blame life or myself at this point. I'll keep you updated.
I'm working at a Starbucks on a college campus and live in the room above my parents. I think that explains my day-to-day life. I generally like my job. Well, I don't currently dislike it. I now have health insurance, so that's good. I get to talk to a myriad of people from all over the world everyday through my job, probably in 30 second intervals, so I make connections with them as I fill them with over-priced, coporate caffeine and whipped cream.
The thing I don't like is the utter lack of fulfillment that comes from this job. I'm sure I could do it while sleepwalking and often times it feels like I am. In college I was fortunate to find what made me happy in life. Something to give me a reason to wake up every morning, even if I had stayed up half of the night working on said passion. Some may say that this passion is simply a hobby, and a complete self-serving one at that, but it didn't feel that way for me.
All that being said, I sometimes wish I had never discovered my "passion," or what have you, for it leaves nothing but a hunger-pang for it. Piss on theatre. It has ruined my life.
